My Mom’s adopted name was Ann Hiatt. She was adopted by my grandparents in 1945 from the Chicago Foundlings Home. Even though she dearly loved my Grandparents, she always wondered about her birth family, who they were, what they were like, etc. I was told that her birth mom was young and unwed, and her birth father was in the military and her birth name might have been Linda Wilson, but not sure on how accurate any of this is, other than she was adopted from the Chicago Foundlings Home in 1945. Unfortunately, she passed away on October 26, 2017, without finding anything. I just would like to find someone who knows anything, just for my Mom, and maybe some medical history for me. I am an only child. Thanks!
