I was adopted at birth in Cook County, Illinois. My family has been very honest about my adoption, but also protective and reticent to share details...I’ve been told my birth mother was young, possibly a college student in southern Illinois. The name Ann Halliday was found on the backside of my edited adoption papers. It was a private adoption handled by a lawyer who ended up in some legal trouble years later (newspapers referred to him as a ’baby broker’, oh my). That’s all I know :)
