Searching for birth parents/ siblings. Birth may have taken place earlier than July birthdate on BC and may have been premature. Birth is recorded as taking place at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield IL. Birth mother is believed to of been a resident of St. Monica’s Home for unwed mothers. Adoption was arranged by Bernice Sorg on behalf of Catholic Charities of Springfield. UPDATE: Original Birth Certificate states mother’s name as Jaqualine Kelley, age 18, from Alton Illinois. I have been tested through 23 and me and Ancestry.com Also in contact with my biological half brother and other close relatives. All leads for birth parents hit dead ends.
