I was adopted by my birth mother because she had gotten pregnant from a co-worker & her husband said she had to give her baby away He put his name on the birth cert, but told her she would help get a people to adopt me. The DNA test in 2018 paired me & my half brother, that I had never known before. With a male ancestor with almost 1700 cM’s, it was definitely a close ancestor which ended up as my 1/2 brother. His father was also my father. It took me almost 70 years to find who he was & wrote to him since he had still alive - but he never returned to respond to my cards or letters. I was told that he died April 9, 2020, in his home, alone, in bed. I was so wanting to meet him.
