At that time they would actually change the birth certificate to the adoptive parents. I was told that my Mother was 17. It was out of wedlock. The father was in the Navy. My name used in the hospital was Michael. I am of German/English decent. However all of this could be incorrect‚ either by the hospital or attorney.
