Your birth name is Jody Michael Dilworth. You were born in San Francisco CA on Aug 14, 1968. I need you to know that I loved you with all my heart and not a day goes by that you are not on my mind. I celebrate your birthday every year only wishing you were here with me. I tried so hard to raise you on my own so moved home to Illinois to get help from my family. Things didn’t go that way. I was disowned and thrown out of the house. I found a small apartment that didn’t even have a refrigerator. I had to keep your bottles on the outside window ledge to stay cold. I got a low paying job at an insurance company. I didn’t have a car and relied on a neighbor to take you to the babysitter and me to work. You were such an unhappy baby when I took you to the sitter, you cried and were still crying when I picked you back up. I finally decided that you deserved a better life than what I could give you. I made the heartbreaking decision to put you in foster care which then led to your adoption. The last time I saw you was on your first birthday at the foster home. You were so happy to see me which tore me apart. I just hope and pray that you had and are having a happy life. I am now 72 years old and a retired high school teacher. My hope is to reunite with you. Oh, and your dad loved you too, but, he died in a motorcycle accident when you were just four months old. Know that I have always loved you. Love Mom
