We are searching for our Father's birth parents‚ not for any reason than to further understand our biology. Rudolph McClure Bahn was born 8Sept45 at Holden Hospital in Carbondale‚ Ill. Bio Mom's name may have been Collins or Collison from Des Plaines‚ Ill. He was a "blue baby" which was thought to occur more frequently on a 2nd or 3rd birth of said Mother. Using 23 & Me as well as Ancestry.com we can see many 3rd thru 7th cousins on Dad's bio family but have been unable to catch a break on Identifying anyone closer. Rudy passed in 1994 so it is just me my sister‚ my daughter and Grandson trying to put the puzzle together. There seems to be a medium amount of Italian and Greek on Dad's genes. My father's adoptive Mom was Aretas Araminta Evans and adoptive Father Rudolph McClure Bahn Sr. Many people that knew my Grandmother thought I was the spitting image of her so that leads down another avenue that she may have been Dad's Aunt. Aretas had a brother H. A. Evans who was said to have been quite the playboy and at one time he lived in Des Plaines‚ Ill. which is where Bio Mom is said to have come from.
