She may have known the father at Bethany College in Mankato in the 1950’s, and it may be Clifford H. Uthene, according to some college friends. Cliff and his family went to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Chicago, this information from an older cousin of mine. He had several siblings-Curtis, Susan Uthene McMahon, deceased in 2007 Jeanette Uthene Frederick, Paul Uthene, and his parents were Howard, deceased, and Margaret Uthene, who died in 2005. There is a Clifford Uthene listed at 3859 N. Nottingham Ave. Chicago 60634 recently. Anna was working at the Addison, IL, Children’s Home at the time of the birth. Anna’s father Neelak was a Lutheran minister and professor at Concordia College and wanted her to give the baby up for adoption. All her parents, aunt and uncles, and siblings have since died, and Anna died in 2017 in December in Warsaw Indiana. So her birth family, cousins, and niece would love to find her baby if he or she would like to meet us. That child would be 57 now. Registered: July 25, 2018
