I am looking for my uncle‚ Harlan Eugene Fawns Jr. He was adopted out of Springfield‚ Illinois‚ I believe through a Catholic Charity. I believe that Harlan was born in 61/62. I'm looking for 3 people in total‚ I have found one of my uncles‚ George Edward Connor and he unfortunately passed in 2021 - however‚ his obituary confirmed that Lawrence and Brenda have not changed their names and were adopted with George. Harlan was adopted by a separate family‚ I believe he had to have some sort of surgery before being adopted out. One of my aunts has had some contact with Harlan's biological family on his father's side and have confirmed that his name has not changed but could not provide any contact info as they said he has "dropped off the face of the Earth". his father was Harlan Eugene Fawns 1937-1998. I don’t know the full story behind what happened‚ but I know that my grandma and my aunts have longed with a connection with them for years. I’d love to find them and harvest that connection for my family‚ and meet the family I’ve never got a chance to know. If you know anything‚ PLEASE reach out to me.
