I am looking for my mother. I believe she used to live in Atlanta Georgia and followed my father to Waukegan Illinois. His Name was Thurman Vasco Griffin. I was given information that he is my biological father I was born October 9 1962 in Chicago Illnois. I was placed in an orphange in Lake Bluff Illinois. Unfortunately the orphange burned and all records were destroyed. My Great Aunt Velma confirmed that my father was my biloigical father. FRom what I understand I do have siblings. As for my parents there were no more children and I was raised as an only child. My father died in August of 1982 and my mother died in March of 2007. I have asked family members and friends of my parents and am not able to get any infomation. I have had two cancer related surgies and am now having another medical problem and it would be helpful to know my history. My father said when I turned 18 he would give me her name address and phone number‚ he died before giving me that information. He used to talk about how beautiful you were and that I resembled you in many ways. I always felt that you were watching over me as I grew up. I went to Carmen Elementary School‚ Jefferson Junior High School and Wauke East community High School. Graduated from College of Lake County‚ then fron University Wisconsin Parkside and Suffolk University Law School. I am Educational Advocate working w/children w/disabilities. I would like to get the medical information and meet you and my siblings. I currently live in Florida but come home as often as I can. I will be home in April‚ I hope you are registered on this site and I get a chance to meet you.
