I was adopted in March of 1945the children’s home society of Los Angeles handled the adoption. They told me that my birth mother had given birth to a daughter who she also gave up for adoption around 4 or 5 years before I was born in Illinois. The Jewish Welfare Board handled this adoption. My birth mother was 27 hen I was born, so 20 21 when she got pregnant. She was Jewish of Polish descent. She was 5’1" and weighed 130, brown hair, hazel eyes. She had beauty marks on her face and neck. I do not have a name, but her last name possibly began with an M.
