I’m a one night stand! A band came thru town so my birth father likely has no idea I exsist and likely nolonger living. Met my birth mom‚ Karen Porter and all my siblings and family on her side. Didn’t seek it out I just reminded my boss of my birth Aunt and thst that was the beginning. I saw one picture but haven’t been able to find it. His name was James Stillwell. He looked like a redhead. I was a natural redhead and when I saw his photo it was the first time I felt I looked like someone. My understanding was he came thru town and I was a one night stand. Karen was either in Grangeville‚ Lewiston or perhaps Clarkston Idaho then. By the time I was born I was given the name of another man she had married named Flaherty. I was born Roberta Lynn Flaherty. My birth mother and my Aunt have both passed. I’m just curious at about family and trates at this point. I too have always loved music and was raised by incredible parents and the mom who raised me was a redhead also. I was 6 months old when I was adopted. Three kids were given up and the first born and the third born‚ myself were adopted together. My folks were told the oldest boy and the middle boy fought alot and it was thought best to separate the two. I later met him and were close to this day. All three of us were fathered by different men. This is the story in short that was shared with me when I met my birth Mom‚ Aunt‚ 3 sisters and 1 brother and all the rest of the large family attatched to the fore mentioned. I believe I was in my early 30’s when all of this happened. Just hoping to get the scoop now as is common at my age so much family has passed. I’m so incredibly greatful for having been adopted and so thrilled my birth mom was so selfless to give me up for the opportunity I was given. Thanks!
