My mother reached out and is searching for my sister that she had put up for adoption when she was 16. Our biological parents are the same. So full blooded sister. Parents have been married since 1981 and are finally wanting to connect with her. I believe this was facilitated through the LDS Church adoption family services as my grandparents would have been in support of not dealing with the shame of this on their family at that time in our culture and their LDS culture.
