I do not have much information to go on. I’ve only heard stories, very little, from the time I was young. All I know is my Grandma had a baby sometime after my mom was born, in the mid to late 1940’s in Idaho but soon after gave her up for adoption. They lived for a time in Sandpoint, Idaho and my grandmother was a baker who worked for a gentleman named PG. I am not sure if she was working there during the time of the pregnancy or not. My grandma was married to my mom’s dad ( my grandpa), at the time however my grandpa passed away when my mom was young and after my grandma and grandpa had gotten divorced. My grandpa was a smoke jumper in Idaho as well as worked in the coal mines he developed black lung and died at about the age of 42/43. I believe his name was Walter Frank Green but I could have my uncle and my grandfather’s name mixed up as my uncle (my mom’s brother), was named after him and his name too was Walter Green (which he has passed too along with my mom). My grandmother never talked about the adoption and it was vague what I did hear. There is only one sibling alive today and her name is Merle Metcalf,
