When I placed Zach for adoption it was for his safety and for the safety of his older sister Alexis. His biological Father put me in the hospital when I was 13 weeks pregnant with him. I hemorraged and had to be in bed rest for the rest of the pregnancy. He continued to terrorize me, stalk me and I knew he wouldn’t be safe unless I placed him with a family that would love and protect him until he was old enough. I wish it could’ve been an open adoption, but LDS Family Services didn’t do them then. I’ve thought of him every day, since that day. I have longed for the day that I would get to hold him in my arms again and for him to get to be reunited with his sister. She has been eagerly awaiting the day that she will get to become acquainted with him. She has no other siblings. I am hopeful that Zach will know how much I love him, how I have prayed for him and his health and to know of my love for him. It is the hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my entire life. I kept a journal and a scrap book of the letters and pictures that Deb and Jim wrote to me. I look forward to the day that we can be part of one another’s lives! I’m so grateful that Heavenly Father allowed me to be the person to bring you into the world. I know it was His will for them to raise you. I hope they will be happy that I want to be part of your life too now that you are grown.
