My mother was adopted in 1968 from Honduras. This was unknown to her till the death of both her parents decades apart. We’ve joined 23 and me and Ancestry.com but still don’t really know where to start. My mother papers had been written in short hand what we know is that she was the youngest of 11 children‚ her parents were turtle farmers and her father was British and Native American‚ her mother Honduran and African. In the orphanage she was in they called her Baby Cindy. Before this my mother had always been told she had been born and adopted in the United States. Searching for answers.
