My sister’s given name is Marielena‚ was born sometime around 1958-1959 and she was given into adoption sometime around 1959-1960. As a baby she was very light skinned and had clear eyes (unsure if green or blue). She was about a year old and was sick with polio‚ unable to afford the treatment for Marielena‚ our mother gave her to adoption in hopes of getting help for her. My sister was born in Colinas Santa Barbara‚ Honduras to Carmela Perdomo Valle. She was given away in adoption in Tegulcigalpa‚ Honduras. I have searched for her whereabouts l‚ and found out that the house she was taken to for adoption no longer exists. The only thing I know is that it is said she was to be given to a North American “gringo” couple. But we do not know ultimately if she left the country. I have my wife‚ kids and grandkids‚ but I know no other family and long to see my sister. El nombre dado a mi hermana fue Marielena‚ nació alrededor de 1958-1959 y fue dada en adopción alrededor de 1959-1960. Como bebe era blanquita con ojos claros. Tenía alrededor de un año y estaba enferma de polio‚ nuestra madre no podía pagar el tratamiento para Marielena‚ y la dio en adopción con la esperanza de conseguir ayuda para ella. Mi hermana nació en Colinas Santa Bárbara‚ Honduras‚ su mamá se llamaba Carmela Perdomo Valle. Marielena fue dada en adopción en Tegucigalpa‚ Honduras. He buscado a Marielena‚ y descubrí que la casa a la que fue llevada en adopción ya no existe. Lo único que sé es que se dice que iba a ser entregada a una pareja de “gringos” norteamericanos. Pero no sabemos en si al final salió del país. Tengo mi esposa‚ hijos y nietos‚ pero no tengo otra familia y anhelo ver a mi hermana.
