My birth mother was Margaret Rose Howells‚ formerly Reeves (b 08/07/1942)‚ she had two other children (my half siblings) with her husband Roger Lewis Howells when I was born. They were Susan Howells (28/07/1960) and Steven Howells (07/05/1961) I was registered as Julie Howells‚ but my adoptive parents‚ Theresa Iris Newsham and Tom Newsham changed my name to Tina. My birth father was Billy (William?) Benali understood to be of Filipino/Malaysian and Irish Heritage. It is thought that he came from Liverpool. He worked on the ships in Southampton.
