My uncle, my mums half brother was born Richard Brian Soal in 1968 to mother Valerie Winifred Soal and father Brian Alfred Richards. I believe he was in a baby and mother unit for a couple of weeks with Valerie and while waiting for the adoption. She believes his name was changed to Brian Richards but this is not certain. Richard has 3 older half siblings, 1 younger half sibling and two full siblings. Brian (my grandfather) passed away in 2010 from cancer. His mother (my step grandmother) is still alive. We have always wanted to find him but have had no luck so far.
