I am female and was born on the 15th April 1945 in Hampshire. Possibly in the Hayling Island area. I dont know my birth mother names so therefore I don’t know my birth surname. Also my father was not her husband. I believe my given name at birth was Anne as my parents told me they had kept that name. My adopted parents Beatrice and Ronald Warr collected me from " a home " on Hayling Island and took me home to Bournemouth in November 1945 when I was seven months old‚ tho the adoption wasn’t finalised till May 1946. I have always known that I was adopted and was told that my mother either had me when her husband was away at the war or was pregnant when he came home. Either way a ultimatum was issued you can stay but the baby goes. I believe she already had children.
