My mother‚ Margaret‚ was born in Manchester‚ 5 July 1933. I gather she was called Margaret Baker. Her birth mother was Catherine Baker nee Steward and her father was Robert Baker. I have her birth certificate stating all of this. She was adopted by Rober Glover Willix and Mary Isabella Willix in Belfast‚ Northern Ireland. I have her baptism certificate‚ as she was baptised on the 19th of August 1942. On the baptism certificate the date of her birthday is now 5 September 1933. Not sure why?
