Hello, my name was Margaret Lomas when I gave birth to my beautiful son I named Robert Barry Lomas. On the 22nd April 1969. I was an unwed mother and I was forced to give my baby up for adoption. This has greatly affected me all my life. I know it was Stockport Council that took him away from me. His adoptive parents were a bank worker and shop assistant as far as I’m aware.
