hello my name is Franchesca‚ my grandmother was adopted in 1941 in Hackney London by a lovely couple called Herbert and Gertrude. my grandmothers birth name was Hazel LePage‚ but was then changed to Annetta Bancroft due to the adoption. my grandmother never told anything to us and sadly she has passed‚ and just in turn her adoptive mother never said much either. you can imagine the shock when we found out. we as a family would just like to finish off the puzzle and complete the family tree. we are not looking for a massive reunion‚ although if individuals did wish to meet‚ that would be great! we are a very curious family and love a good mystery to also to solve. if there is any information out there ‚ no matter how small‚ it will be greatly appreicated.
