I grew up in south London England. I am not sure where i was adopted or when. i do not know my DOB‚ (although i must be in my mid to late 40's) i also do not know my name or where i was born. Information has been withheld. it is very hard to find anything through the courts or social services if you have nothing to go on. when i have contacted GRO they said that if the adoption took place in the UK my certificate would be annotated or they would be able to locate the original birth cert. as far as i have been led to believe my parents will have been a mixed race couple with connections to America and the Caribbean . I am under the impression that they were forced to part with me but i am prepared to believe that may not be true. i would like to know more about my origins and any family including siblings i may have. the form will not allow me to put unknown in some of the options so the dob on here may be conflicting.
