I have recently discovered that my parents had a baby‚ but because they weren’t married at the time‚ my mother was forced to give birth to the boy‚ Vincent Paul Clemenson at an unmarried mother’s centre‚ St Faith’s‚ Bearsted in Kent. My mother Joan Adela Clemenson lived in Hounslow. The baby was then officially adopted by a couple in Wimbledon. My parents eventually married 6 years later‚ but sadly kept this secret throughout their whole life. I have a copy of the baby’s birth certificate and an Aunt has told me the adopted parents surname was Legge (unconfirmed). I have registered with the UK Govt Adoption department‚ but unfortunately he never has‚ so I have been unable to trace him. I want to know that he had a happy life and be in touch because he is a full-blood brother and he now feels like a missing part of our family dynamics. I am 10 years younger and live in Australia.
