My birth mother is called Kathleen O’Brien‚ she was born on 8th June 1943 in Ardfinnan‚ Clonmel‚ Tipperary‚ Ireland. She came to England in May 1959 and was living at 59‚ Hill Street‚ Coventry with her sister Helen O’Brien‚ and was working in the Walls factory. Other addresses associated with Kathleen between July 1962 and March 1963 are 35‚ Waldo Road‚ London‚NW10 & 5‚ Essendine Road‚ London‚ W9. In December 1962‚ Kathleen married Patrick Coughlan (not my birth father) in Dublin. Kathleen and Patrick returned to the UK following their marriage and honeymoon. My biological father is Michael Byrnes (Kathleen lost contact with Michael so he didn’t know he was a father)‚ originally from Cork‚ Ireland but living in Tile Hill‚ Coventry in 1962. Michael had a brother who was a priest in Dublin. I was born at St Marys Hospital‚ Paddington‚ London on 11th October 1962. I was adopted through the The Crusade of Rescue (now known as The Catholic Children’s Society). I would like to find out about my birth mother‚ siblings and other family members.
