I am hoping to locate my mother’s brother. He was born on 9 February 1939 in the Metropolitan Borough of St Marylebone‚ London‚ to Bridget Christina Horan‚ who was originally from Castlebar‚ County Mayo‚ Ireland. He was named Anthony Graham Horan at birth. We believe he was later adopted and may now be known as Paul A Brown. From what we understand‚ he may have previously been searching for his birth mother by looking for Agnes Horan‚ Bridget’s mother (his maternal grandmother). Bridget later married my grandfather‚ Harry Roy Hayes. We recently came across an article in the Lancashire Evening Post from 1991‚ about pollution in the River Ribble in Preston‚ Lancashire‚ which includes a photograph of a man we believe may be Paul A Brown — our mother’s brother. If this is indeed him‚ we would be absolutely delighted to make contact or learn any further information.
