My birth mothers name was Jennifer Courtney. She was in one of the many church run homes for unmarried mothers and liked after me until the morning of adoption. My birth was registered in St Margaret’s,Epping Forest. I believe she worked for the post office and her date of birth was 30/09/1946. I also believe she originally came from Rochdale, and was the only child to her parents. I was adopted through the Crusade of Rescue, a Catholic organisation.
