My mother recently passed. I found letters where she had searched for and found a baby boy she adopted out in 1964. They connected but the few letters only have first names of him and his family with no addresses. She never told us of his existence but left a note to please notify him if anything ever happened to her. My mother was Patricia Anne Clarke née Gray and her son was named Stuart at birth but renamed Simon by his adopted parents. They sent cards and letters infrequently and he signed them Simon‚ Rachel‚ Harry‚ Tilly and Charlie. Simons adopted mother was Mrs J A Howard -Smith of Chippenham. I would dearly love to connect with Simon or at least inform him of the passing of his birth mother. Thank you.
