I am searching for my Birth Mother and Brother. I was born at home in Manor Park, East London. My mother’s name was Marjorie Smith - who came from the Watford area At the time of my birth, Marjorie was working in a rubber factory in Whipps Cross. My brother who was around seven years older was Paul Smith. I believe that Paul was in care at the time of my birth on 20 September 1961, but that my mother was eventually able to get him back. I was cared for by Marjorie until I was four months old - when I was placed with my adoptive parents in January 1962. I understand that by now you will probably have families of your own ect and the last thing I want is to disrupt your lives - But I would really like to find the missing piece of my life and understand where I come from ect.
