We are a young family, searching for my husband’s biological brother who we believe was adopted out around 1972 in Gisborne, New Zealand. My husband’s name is Benjamin Foster. His father was Sergeant Denis Foster. We believe that at the time of the adoption that Denis was a young man, approximately 16 years of age. We know that the resulting child was a male and that at the last known contact that he was residing in the United Kingdom and did not wish to make contact with his birth father or the family. We are reaching out for various reasons. My husband wishes to make contact with his biological brother after the devastating loss of his father in 2017. We also have 2 beautiful daughters, his nieces that we would love to know their Uncle and my husband would desperately love a relationship with his only brother. Our relationship with my husband’s family is fraught and we do not see no get along with them alot. We would like to branch out and offer acceptance to this member of our family, who’s name from family accounts is "Michael". My mother in law doesn’t speak of this, it was before her time, so this is the limited info we currently have to go on.
