I am a sibling searching for a half brother or sister. We were told that the baby was a female but we are not for certain. My Mother was put to sleep for the delivery of the baby. The adoption took place with an attorney. I believe it was a referral from a Cobb county, Georgia health clinic. The attorney knew the parents who adopted the baby personally as friends. The attorney placed my Mother in a trailer during the pregnancy in located in Carrollton, Georgia. My Mother hid the pregnancy from family. The birth occurred in 1987-1988 possibly at Parkway Regional Hospital in Lithia Springs, Georgia. (Douglas County) My Mother was born 8/9/1961. She was between the ages of 26-27 at the time of the birth. She already had three children. 2 girls and 1 Boy. The father of the baby was in his early twenties and not yet ready for a family. My Mother may have used false information to hide her identity. She may have used willard or rowe or even grant as a last name. The records may have been sealed in another state other than Georgia. Georgia has no records that indicated that my Mother gave birth and placed a child up for adoption. We checked Families First an adoption records facility. The adopted family had stated they would not seal the records and that they would allow contact. We do have DNA registered through Ancestry.com.
