My daughter was born at Grady Memorial in Atlanta‚ Ga. The Catholic agency there was in charge of the placement. She was originally supposed to go to a family with sons and that wanted a daughter. I believe the adoption was slowed because her fontanelle was slow closing and the adoptive parents did not want to take a chance that there was a problem. I never did hear if a placement took place - I just assumed that it had.
