I was born in Augusta‚ Georgia on September 12‚ 1978. I was put into foster care within 6 days‚ then adopted 3 months later. My birth mother was 27 at the time of birth & the bio father was a 21 yr old mechanic she had previously dated. He was unaware of my birth at the time. Also‚ at the time of my birth my bio mom already had a 5 yr old son & 2 yr old daughter. However‚ some info I have indicates she may have lost custody of those two children or given them up for adoption as well but that’s just speculation. Luckily‚ I was adopted by the best family on earth & was raised as an only child. I am very fortunate but would still love to know about what happened to my bio siblings. I’d also like to let my bio dad know I’m ok & he made the right decision by letting me go. I can only imagine how surprising & difficult that decision was at such a young age but I am eternally grateful for your selfless act. You made the right choice. Thank you.
