Searching for half-sister who was given up for adoption probably in either Louisiana or Georgia. She was most likely born in 1954. Our mother was from Cobb County‚ Georgia and was born 08/15/1934. She was a slender 5’ 9" tall with auburn hair‚ green eyes‚ fair skin‚ and freckles. She was academically gifted and outgoing. She named the baby Mary Ann after her great grandmother. I do not know which hospital or adoption agency was used. The family is Baptist‚ so an affiliation with a Baptist home is possible. In the early 1980’s‚ she told me that she had written to the adoption agency letting them know that she was open to a reunion‚ but provided no details to me.
