I was born on November 6‚ 1963 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah‚ GA. Through a DNA test with Ancestry.com I was a very close match to Brian H. Gracey and we made contact. We met in person 1 time and he told me that my birth mother was Ann Martin Gracey (7/1/1944). You reached out to Ann Gracey in 2017 and I spoke with Brian Gracey in 2019 and we were told that Ann Gracey was not interested in meeting me‚ her biological daughter. Ann Gracey did say that the father’s name was Stephen H. Best 8/20/1940. On the Ancestry.com DNA results‚ I am a very close match to Kimberly Best‚ whose father is Stephen Best. I think if Stephen Best is my biological father‚ Kimberly is my biological half sister. I did send a register letter to Stephen Best in May 2019 but have never had a reply. I have also sent numerous notes to Kimberly through Ancestry.com‚ but no reply. Since all of this happened‚ both Brian and Ann Gracey have died so I still have not been able to speak to a biological parent and was hoping to be able to speak with Stephen Best‚ who I think may be my biological father. I have done a little research and it looks like Stephen Best went to Clemson University‚ my son just finished his sophomore year this year at Clemson University. Also‚ Stephen Best is a biology major‚ and it turns out so was I and went on to get a MS degree in Marine Biology. I think these are cool facts and would like to see if Stephen Best would be interested in meeting me‚ my son‚ and my husband. Thank you!
