My father was born September 23‚ 1948 and was from the central Georgia area. His adoption was arranged by (what I am told) was the first Gynecologist in Macon Georgia who was a relative of my grandmother. Rumor has it her name was Marie Mixon‚ but I am not sure that is accurate. My father also mentioned a memory he had from when he was about 4 of a man in a military uniform speaking to him while he was on his front porch and telling him that he was his father. I was also told of another friend of the family back in that time whose last name was Park or something who married a mixon and he was in the military. I have done ancestry DNA and I Have a match of a 1st cousin with the last name of Campbell but cannot find any information on that lady.
