I was born Sept 3, 1955 in Birmingham, Alabama. My birth weight was 5lb. 1 oz. My biological mother was 15 years old at the time of my birth and her family had her leave home. The Salvation Army took care of her until my birth. It is my understanding she gave me up for adoption without seeing me. This is all the information I have about my biological mother. I do not know anything about my biological father. I am not looking for a mother. I have a mother and my adopted father is now deceased. I am totally secure with who I am in life. I never had a desire to find my biological parents until I became a mother myself. I would like to meet my mother so that I can tell her this. If you ever spent a sleepless night wondering about me, it was needless. I was adopted by two people that loved me beyond measure. They made me believe I could do anything in life and I was their life. At least until my brother was born. You see they spent 15 years trying to have a child. They adopted me and 2 1/2 year later they had my brother. I love him as much as they do and my parents went to great measures to be sure that I knew their was no difference in the way they felt about me and my brother. My mother is 87 years old and I would like the opportunity of introducing her to my biological mother if it would not cause any problems for my biological mother. I do not want to intrude into her life if her current family does not know about me.
