My name is Brian Michener, I am 46yrs old,DOB July 27, 1970. I was adopted out of Cobb County, Marietta, Georgia, however I was born at the Florence Crittenden Home in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Recently, I found my birth father, David P. McDowell of Tennessee, through ANCESTRY DNA.com but sadly, he passed away a few years ago so I never got to meet him & all of his family is adamant he had no idea I existed. So at A My adoptive parents names are Charles & Edith Michener & he was also in the Navy stationed nearby in Georgia. I hesitate to mention that there may be the name ’Christopher’ associated in some way- perhaps a family name or my given name for the short time (less than a week ?) before I was placed with my family (actual adoption wasn’t legalized until sometime in 1971.) I am desperately seeking my birth family & my true identity. I am willing to DNA test & eager to find any birth relatives I may have. I welcome any information, inquiries and assistance you may be able to provide. Thank you.
