Hi there. I am desperately trying to find my half brother. My mother became pregnant around 16/17/18 years of age. She lived in Vidalia Georgia at the time. Her parents sent her to an “unmarried women’s home” somewhere around Vidalia/Toombs County Ga. I do know that one of the doctors at the hospital ended up adopting the baby boy. My mother’s name at the time was Brenda Jeanne Carter. Her mother was Jeanne Carter and her father was Nat O. Carter. I don’t even know where to begin in this search. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!! (I do not know exactly how many days after the birth that the doctor adopted him. I know it was fairly quickly. I also do. Or know the month he was born.)
