My daughter in law, Melissa Calhoun is searching for her birth parents. She was born as Melissa Ann Savery on August 30, 1985 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta Ga. Her birth mother was Barbara Savery who was born March 6th 1965 possibly in Phoenix AZ. Birth father’s name was said to be John Morrell but have no info on him. She was taken from her birth mother at 3 months old by Spalding County DFACS but they were full so she was transferred to Henry County to live with her foster parents who eventually adopted her. The adoption was finalized June 27, 1989 and her adoptive parents were James Watson Richards and Eunice Clara Richards.
