My mother divorced my father in Spring 1964. She later dated someone and became pregnant. My mother moved in with her aunt in Atlanta to quietly have the baby. I remained with my grandparents in North Georgia. Based on a timeline I’ve pieced together, the baby was born between Mar and June 1965. The aunt told me about it decades later and that the baby was a boy. He was adopted by a couple. My aunt would not give me any additional information as it was suppose to be a secret and she realized that I knew nothing.
