My mother died several years ago and I was looking through her bible. There was an infants hospital bracelet in it that said baby Ray Carpenter born on 8/22/1956. The other side had my mother’s name on it. I have a brother born on the same date named Charles Allen Carpenter. I didn’t know about baby Ray. I don’t know if he died or lived and therefore am trying to see if he was put up for adoption because my parents couldn’t afford to keep him.
