I was born in Savannah ga on 8-13-1960. My birth name was Brenda Christine Drown. My birth mother was Sharon Darlene Drown. She was 21 years old and not married. She kept me about 3 weeks. About a year later she moved back to Missouri where her family lives. She died in January 2012. I never met her. Mine was not a traditional adoption. My bm gave me to a Dr she trusted (who became my uncle) I was adopted by that dr.’s brother and sister in law who renamed me Belinda Marie Byers. No one alive today knows the identity of my birth father. What those left remember being told he was much older than my bm. Was married with at least one child. He did government work. My bm never married or had other children.
