I was born Oct. 12‚ 1970 and adopted in Augusta‚ Ga. (Ft. Gordon Army Base). My adoptive parents were told that my heritage is Portuguese‚ Irish‚ Scotch and Dutch. DNA testing showed Chinese as well. My birth mother was Catholic‚ 19 years old‚ had several siblings. Her father was retired military. Birth father was in Marine Corps‚ age 19. His father was a newspaper production manager. He had 1 sister. I was five months old when I was placed with my adoptive parents. I was called Lee. My adoption petition was filed by atty. Jay Sawilowsky with Judge Hardin. Caseworkers in the adoption were Pat Fitzgerald and Irene S. Olive.
