My mother refuses to reveal the identity of my half sisters birth father. My parents were separated when my half sister was conceived but wanted to save their marriage even after my mother revealed she was pregnant by someone else. My father simply agreed to raise my half sister as his own and the birth father supposedly agreed. From my understanding there was no official adoption or any sort of paperwork. My father is listed on my half sisters original birth certificate as her "birth father". My half sister found out the truth about her paternity when she was about 12 and since then she has struggled with severe depression and even drug abuse. She even lost custody of her two daughters to DFCS. My parents divorced when I was 12 and my father ( her father figure) has had minimal contact. My half sisters birth father supposedly lives in Chattanooga, TN (possibly Hixon, TN) and I believe his first name is Larry ( his last name might be Hicks). He is Caucasian and at the time may have had brown hair and worn a full beard. My parents are both Mexican and I resemble the two of them but my half sister has a very light to pale skin tone and she has naturally curly brown hair with highlights of red/copper. Our mothers name at the time was Diana L. Rueda but her maiden name was Diana L. Canales and she resided in Ringgold, GA. My mother may have been working as a waitress and met Larry at The Hitching Post in Chattanooga. Please help!
