I just found out I have twin 1/2 sister siblings through ancestry. We came up as a very high match indicating that my father is in fact their father. However in our search to find her birth mother we are at a stand still. Names have come up on ancestry with 1st-2nd cousin matches .however we have not found a link to a possible mother. A name of Mary Jane/Jo Smith is on the birth certificate but we are unsure if that name is real or generic. I am hoping you can help. My fathers name is not listed on the birth certificate but as the numbers on our DNA ancestry are so closely related we have every reason to believe he is in fact the father to the girls.
