I was born on October 23, 1961at Candler Telfair hospital in Savannah, Georgia. The adoption was handled by Attorney Hugh Futrell through Bethesda Adoption Agency. I was 6 weeks old when my parents got me, December 12, 1961. The only information I know other than that is that my mother was 15 and came to Savannah to have me. Her mother was remarried and he was injured on the job at the railroad and they were not in a position financially to have me. She, maternal grandmother, wrote a letter and left it with the agency for me if I was ever able to search. This is the only information that Chatham County Health Department could give me.
