My sister, Angela Rose Musselman, was born on 03/24/1971 in Altoona, PA (Blair County), after which we moved to Columbus, GA. When my sister was only a few months old, our mother, Ursula Horneck Musselman (deceased), gave her to a military couple named Bill and Barbara Driggers, who were stationed at Ft. Benning, GA. There was no legal/formal adoption. I have spent the last 41 years searching for my sister to the point of total financial, emotional, and physical exhaustion. I am the only sibling who has been searching for her, because I was the only one who took total care of her during the first few months of her life. When our mother gave her away, a piece of my heart went with her, as I was devastated and crushed. From the age of 16, I have been searching for her with no success, because no one wants to be involved, and, due to the HIPPA laws, no government agency will help me. The search for my sister has totally consumed my life, as I am now in very poor health, mostly from a broken heart. I need to find my sister before I die. Our mother and our sister both died from Huntington’s Disease, so it is imperative that my sister be informed of this horrific genetic disease that runs in our family. I have contacted every governmental agency, including the Department of the Army, Vital Statistics, the Department of Human Services, etc. No one will help me. Recently, I even made the long trip to Altoona, PA to try to get help with no success at all. After she was taken, the military couple had to have taken her to the Martin Army Hospital, which is located in Ft. Benning, GA, for immunizations, check-ups, etc. Even the hospital refuses to help me... I feel certain that her name was changed, but, again, no one is willing to help me. I should have ended my search for her a long time ago, due to the overall toll that it has taken on me, but my heart keeps telling me to keep searching, so I am hoping and praying that you can help me. I do have a copy of her original birth certificate, which I can provide. My Date of Birth is 10/18/1961. I was born in Heidelberg, Germany. I am the oldest sibling. If you need to know any other information about me, I will be happy to provide whatever information you may need. Even though the birth certificate for my sister lists the father as Martin Musselman, he was not her biological father, as our mother was involved with other men, including the Child Protective Services Social Worker/Case Manager named Mr. Dunn, who handled her case at the Department of Human Services located in Altoona, PA. Any help that you could offer to me would be greatly appreciated. Please respond as soon as possible. Thank you so much. D. L. Horneck
