Adoption took place in Augusta‚ GA at the Medical College of GA. Adoptive parents lived in Graniteville‚ SC. He was adopted at birth. My husband was always aware he was adopted‚ and he was told that his birth mother was young‚ and already had a young child (possibly another boy) and could not raise another.
